We are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Manager who can provide high quality assistance to the SENDCo and Inclusion Leader. You will assess, support and review the needs of students identified as having behavioural difficulties which impact on their ability to access mainstream lesson(s). Helping to develop their behaviour, you will support them to successfully transition to mainstream lessons so they can achieve their academic potential.
We are looking for someone who:
• Can contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of our students, with specific focus on their behaviour;
• Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Is proactive and has exceptional organisational and time management skills;
• Has a meticulous attention to detail;
• Is willing to be part of a busy and effective team;
• Has achieved a GCSE at level A-C in English and Mathematics.
Our staff are highly committed, hardworking and motivated and very much about the community and are ambitious for the School in terms of learning and enrichment opportunities for the students. You will be a reliable and enthusiastic team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to develop good working relationships with students, parents and carers, working closely with other members of the team. You will have a general awareness of supporting personal and academic needs of students, while challenging and motivating them to achieve their best.
We would welcome applications from colleagues who are equally ambitious for our students and are prepared to make a significant difference to young people’s aspirations and achievements during their education at Oakmoor School.
As part of the University of Chichester Multi-Academy Trust you will have access to additional opportunities and benefits. You will find that each academy has a unique identity, but a shared belief in creating a positive and enriching environment, where all staff feel valued.
