At the University of Chichester Multi Academy Trust, we believe in fostering an environment where everyone can thrive. We're on the lookout for three enthusiastic Site Assistants to be the unsung heroes behind the scenes, ensuring our Academies are safe, welcoming, and ready for learning adventures.

One of the roles will be based at Oakmoor School which is currently undergoing an exciting period of expansion across the 22-acre site.

The other two roles will be working flexibly across not just Oakmoor, but the other Academies we have in the locality too. These are currently Bordon Junior School, Weyford Nursery and Primary Academy and Fernhurst Primary School.

As a Trust we believe in working together to create a vibrant, inclusive and aspirational family of academies, transforming life chances for pupils through excellent teaching, learning and leadership. We are looking for the right candidates to help achieve this mission; every role we have is key to achieving our goals. All of our Academies are unique and have their own identity within the local community, whilst still being integral parts of our wider Trust family.

The main aspects of the role will be to work with, and in the absence of, the relevant Site Manager; taking responsibility for the maintenance and security of the school premises and site. Working as a part of an effective wider site team to ensure the school meets with health and safety legislation and is a safe environment for the school community. You should enjoy working with children and be able to communicate well with both adults and children (from Nursery through to age 16), like to work as part of a team, work on your own initiative, and enjoy working in a school environment.

Professional development and career progression is often seen as limited in schools. At the Trust we encourage staff to develop and offer support to do so. You will find whilst each of our Academies remain uniquely different to each other, we all share a belief in creating a positive and enriching environment, where all staff feel valued.

Applications will be considered on an on-going basis between now and the closing date. Please submit your application at the earliest convenience as we reserve the right to withdraw the advertisement should a suitable candidate be successful.
