Oakmoor School is a brand new, state of the art secondary school situated in a 22 acre tree lined site on the edge of the South Downs National Park. We would love all of our students to develop a desire to read extensively for pleasure and seek a reading champion for our community to be our new librarian.
We wish to appoint a motivated librarian to promote a passion for and love of reading across our community; to co-ordinate activities within the library and providing a comprehensive service to both pupils and staff; to plan and implement school policy in relation to the library to achieve an efficient, structured provision within the school; to provide support in the use of the library for research and pleasure reading; to support curriculum led activities by preparing, providing, maintaining, organising and managing resources. You will have a love of reading and will actively promote, and be committed to developing a reading culture across the school.
