Arundel Court Primary Academy
We are above average in size with approximately 680 pupils and a nursery on site. The school has been part of The University of Chichester Academy Trust since 2017 as a converter academy. An extensive new academy building programme (PSBP2) funded by the EFSA was completed in February 2020. In 2023, the school expanded further with the opening of our Nest, an inclusion centre for 24 children. We are an inclusive community that challenges and inspires children in a creative and engaging way, laying the foundations for life.
Position Description
As a Class Teacher in Year R you will be responsible for providing teaching and learning that would be considered exemplary across all areas of the EYFS curriculum; ensuring the needs of all pupils are met, enabling pupils to develop and progress in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment. The successful candidate will provide a broad, balanced, relevant and stimulating curriculum, that is engaging and motivational to enable continued progress and improved pupil attainment. You will also take responsibility to ensure teaching assistants are aligned to the aims and outcomes of your teaching to ensure an effective and collaborative contribution for the benefit of all pupils.
