    The University of Chichester Academy Trust

    You will be part of The University of Chichester Academy Trust, which is uniquely positioned to make a difference in the local educational landscape. The Trust currently encompasses 17 academies, 2 Inclusion centers, and a School-Centered Initial Teacher Training base, all based in Hampshire, Portsmouth, and West Sussex. While we share a common vision and values, each academy has its own identity that contributes to its local community. The Trust is committed to valuing the uniqueness of each school.

    Position Description

    The University of Chichester (Multi) Academy Trust is seeking two committed and forward-thinking individuals to join our Board of Trustees. As we expand from 17 to up to 30 academies, we are looking for Trustees who can help shape the future of our Trust, ensuring we continue to deliver excellent education and support across our diverse family of schools. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant, inclusive, and aspirational organisation that places pupil progress and the development of outstanding educators at the heart of its mission.

    Currently, we are particularly welcoming applications from individuals with expertise in human resources and education. Trustees play a vital role in providing strategic leadership, accountability, and assurance, helping us maintain high standards and navigate the challenges of a changing educational and financial landscape. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who share our values of aspiration, evidence-informed practice, diversity, collaboration, and agency.
