    CLASS TEACHER – Weyford Primary Academy

    Contract: Full-time - Permanent

    Salary: MPR/UPS £31,650.00 - £49,084.00

    Weyford Nursery and Primary Academy is located in the town of Bordon in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire. It lies in within the 54 hectare of Hogmoor Enclosure, about 5.4 miles (8.7 km) southeast of Alton. The town is currently changing and regenerating with many new houses, businesses and sports amenities being built.

    The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher, passionate about classroom practice and committed to high expectations for children's achievement and behavior. They must have the ability to adapt learning experiences to meet the diverse needs of students.

With a positive attitude, resilience, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic, you will be dedicated to collaborating with colleagues and contributing to various aspects of school life. Additionally, you will engage with parents, guardians, governors, and the local community to foster a supportive educational environment.

    We have introduced a two-week October half term across all our schools. This initiative is already making a positive impact giving staff and pupils a valuable break during the long autumn term, reducing absence through illness, and supporting overall well-being. It also brings greater consistency across our Trust, creating a more connected and efficient way of working. It’s just one example of how we prioritise our people and create a working environment where everyone can thrive.
