The University of Chichester is sending Christmas cards with a difference to its fellow institutions, friends and supporters this year.
Every Christmas the University creates a new design for its electronic and traditional cards and, this year, Vice-Chancellor Professor Behagg invited the children from the University of Chichester’s five Academy Trust primary schools to enter a fun competition to design the card.
Professor Clive Behagg admitted it was the most difficult task of his week to choose the winning designs.
‘We thought we would have two winners, one in each age range category,’ said Professor Behagg. ‘But there were so many beautiful pictures and drawings that I had to choose four instead, and then an extra two as runners-up.’
Sue Samson, CEO of the Academy Trust, also selected a design for the Trust’s own Christmas cards and the five winning designs were produced as e-cards as well as printed traditionally. Framed copies of their artwork were presented to all of the selected artists.
