Site Maintenance Assistant

Salary £19,312 - £20,493 per annum, pro rata. Actual salary £11,091 - £11,769 per annum. Part-Time 18:00 - 22:15 Monday to Friday (52 weeks per annum). Start date ASAP. Closing date 21st June 2021.

We currently have an opportunity for a Site Maintenance Assistant to join our close knit team.  We are seeking a confident individual who is organised and can work both independently and as a team member.  The role requires a professional, courteous, can-do and flexible attitude.  In liaison with, and in the absence of, the Site Manager take responsibility for the maintenance and security of the school premises and site, ensuring that the school meets with health and safety legislation and is a safe environment for the school community.

Duties to include:

  • General building, site and ground maintenance
  • Record keeping for statutory testing and health and safety management
  • Flexible and able to liaise with school staff
  • Approachable with the ability to quickly build a rapport with a diverse range of individuals
  • Defect and fault operating
  • Facilitate the use of the site for school events and external users
  • Site cleanliness
  • Carry our routine decorating works
  • Monitor stock and order supplies
