Teaching Assistants 

31.25 hours per week, (8.30am to 3.30pm daily) 44.67 weeks per annum, term time only (39 weeks per annum) Permanent contract

Salary Range Trust Grade 2/3 points 3-8 depending on experience £20,812 to £22.777

(Actual starting salary, £15.099 to £16.525)

We have positions in our Inclusion Centre and in our mainstream school.

Interview Date: 18th and 19th April 2024

Start date: One post is for an immediate start at our mainstream school. 

   One post is for a May start at our mainstream school.

   Inclusion Centre posts are for a September start.

You will be required to support the development of pupils’ teaching and learning and their physical and mental wellbeing on a one-to-one or in a small group basis. As part of a team you will help to encourage and develop independent learning, promoting excellent behaviours and creating a vibrant, happy and exciting learning environment, enabling our children to achieve their best. 

With a good knowledge and understanding of how to support learning for children and building effective relationships with children, staff and parents, you will assist in providing a wide range of activities and learning activities.  Ensuring a safe environment, you will prepare and clear away materials and resources as required. With good interpersonal and communication skills, you will be organised, flexible and have the presence to inspire confidence and trust so as to develop and nurture independence. Some intimate care with children may be needed. Previous experience is essential.
