Site Maintenance Assistant part time

22.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Trust Grade 3: £23,500 - £24,702 Full Time Equivalent per annum

Actual Salary £14,100 - £14,821 per annum

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated part time Site Maintenance Assistant to join our team who are responsible for the maintenance and security of the school premises and site.  We are located near the beautiful conservation area of Baffins Pond and Langstone Harbour and are fortunate enough to have a large green space of our own and outdoor learning facilities that provide endless opportunities. Working under the direction of the Site Manager, you will ensure that the buildings and site are secure, including day to day repairs and maintenance as required, along with monitoring the general condition of the buildings, both inside and out. The role will require you to be able to operate school systems – heating, cooling, lighting, alarms etc. – making sure that they are in good working order at all times.

With knowledge of building maintenance and a willingness to undertake training, you will have a professional, friendly and helpful approach. You will understand the need to be flexible, conscientious and reliable, and enjoy contributing to a team whilst able to work with minimum supervision.  Working hours to be negotiated at interview to meet the needs of the school.
