Highbury Primary School is an increasingly popular two-form entry school with a large nursery, serving a close-knit residential community on the north edge of Portsmouth.  Rated Good in December 2021, Ofsted found that ‘pupils are enthusiastic about school and speak proudly about their learning’. Highbury Primary School is part of the University of Chichester Multi Academy Trust, a collaborative multi-academy trust, whose academies have strong leadership and inspire and lead a team of dedicated staff.

Although our family of academies are different, with their own challenges, we collectively share a strong belief that education is the key to transforming lives and securing social mobility.  We share the same vision and values, and an ethos of continual improvement in a people centric environment.  You will find across the Trust, there is a collective energy for collaboration, enabling innovative ideas to be explored and projects developed that make a real difference to pupils’ experience, whilst supporting an environment that engages and supports staff development.

We hope you find the Headteacher Information pack provides an insight to Highbury Primary School and the Trust.  If you believe you have the qualities and are excited about the prospect of leading the school on its journey to excellence, we are waiting to tell you more.
