Finance & Administrative Officer

Salary: £21,269 to £23,484

Pro rata is £15,574 to £17,196

30 hours per week, initially fixed term for 2 years

Part-time, term time only (39 weeks plus 2 weeks in school holidays)

Berewood Primary School opened in 2014 and is set in beautiful grounds in Waterlooville, with 420 pupils on roll.  Pupils and staff share a Berewood bond of being kind and helpful, respectful and safe and resilient and hardworking.


Providing a professional and effective administrative service, you will support the Business Manager and senior leadership team completing a breadth of administrative activity, with specific focus on financial and HR administration.  For the right candidate this is an opportunity to develop within the role and complete a fully funded AAT qualification.  You will also have access to a wide range of both career and personal development programmes and courses, receiving training to ensure a high-quality effective and efficient administrative provision for Berewood Primary school.  


In return, you will be adaptable and enjoy working in a small team environment with a people-centric, resolution focused approach and have a good attention to detail. You will bring strong organisational skills and enjoy a varied role with a good understanding of financial administration.  Previous school experience and knowledge of school management information systems would be advantageous although is not essential.
