Court Lane Junior School are recruiting an Administrative Assistant. This role is the first point of contact for visitors, parents, staff, pupils and contributes to the smooth running of the reception and medical room.

We are looking for someone who has a friendly, positive and helpful attitude when dealing with a broad range of topics. This is a very busy and varied role. It requires an individual who has good communication and interpersonal skills and is able to organise and prioritise their work. A valid first aid qualification is desirable, but training will be given.

You will also be the principal point of contact for all first-aid related tasks. These will include (but are not limited to) administration of medicines in line with school policies and procedures, dealing with first aid incidences and maintaining first aid records and supplies. In addition to this, you will be part of the school Admin team and provide a professional and efficient administrative service within the school office, supporting the School Business Manager and the Data Officer in all aspects of school office administration.

In return, you will be part of the University of Chichester Academy Trust, bringing you added benefits and opportunities. You will find that each of our academies has a unique identity, but a shared belief in creating a positive and enriching environment, where all staff feel valued.

The successful candidate will also need to have an Enhanced DBS check as this role involves contact with children.

Visits to the school are welcomed and strongly encouraged. For an informal discussion to learn more about this post and our school, please phone the School Business Manager on 023 92 375444
