Arundel Court Primary Academy are looking to appoint a one to one teaching assistant, 20 hours per week, term time only (fixed term contract).
The successful applicant will support the development of pupils’ teaching and learning and their physical and mental wellbeing on a one-to-one or small group basis you will work closely with the Class Teacher. As part of a team you will help to encourage and develop independent learning, promoting excellent behaviours and creating a vibrant, happy and exciting learning environment, enabling our children to achieve their best.
With a good knowledge and understanding of how to support learning for children and building effective relationships with children, staff and parents, you will assist in providing a wide range of activities and learning activities. With good interpersonal and communication skills, you will be organised, flexible and have the presence to inspire confidence and trust so as to develop and nurture independence. Previous experience is essential on working with pupils with social, emotional and behaviour difficulties.
