Teaching Assistants (Early Years and Year 2- supporting a child with global delay) - Fixed Term
September 2020 until August 2021, with the potential to be extended to the following academic year
28 hours p/week, Monday to Friday, 08:45/50am to 15:15/20pm; Term Time only - 39 weeks per annum
Located in the East of Portsmouth, Langstone Infant Academy is proud of its caring ethos, encouraging and supporting children to achieve their full potential, and is a positive and active place to work. Our school is Good across the board and this feels like the perfect time to drive head-on into greatness and feel we need to invest in an amazing practitioner to provide assistance to the class teacher(s) in supporting pupils on a one-to-one or a small group basis. Ideally, you will have knowledge/experience of working within a school and have a general awareness of the current Special Educational needs and disability Code of Practice.
Our busy school is exceptionally lucky to benefit from being surrounded by well-kept grounds, good on street parking and transport routes in and out of the city as we are near to the Eastern Rd (A2030). Everyone here goes above and beyond for the school, we all recognise the importance of being reflective and we’re not afraid to try new things.
