Do you have the drive, determination and ambition, to both lead and collaborate in equal measure? Court Lane Junior School is a popular four form entry school on a shared site with its partner Infant School. We are seeking a strong and dynamic leader, able to build on the collaboration with the Infant School to further develop a dynamic, supportive and creative learning community for staff, children and parents.

We are seeking a very special individual who will relish the opportunity to develp a new model of architect leadership building on the foundations already laid.

Court Lane Junior School is located in the Cosham area of Portsmouth. It attracts pupils from a large and diverse catchment area and is regularly over-subscribed. If you beleive that you can make a real and lasting difference to pupils' primary experience, this is the role for you.

Court Lane Junior School is part of the University of Chichester Academy Trust. We are a growing, dynamic and innovative Multi-Academy Trust with an educational heritage and a strong belief that education is the key to transforming lives and securing social mobility. We encourage and empower our Headteachers to work together, sharing knowledge and expertise for the benefit of all.

If you aspire to our values and have the leadership, drive and vision, with our support, to continue Court Lane Junior's journey to excellence, contact the Central HR Team by email unicathr@chi.ac.uk who will be happy to organise a telephone or virtual informal meeting with the current Headteacher and/or Headteacher of the Infant School. As restrictions ease, we will be happy to invite you for a tour of our school.

Our pupils are keen to welcome you to their School and we invite you to virtually meet with the Headteacher and a Trust leader to discuss how we could work together to make a lasting difference to the children in this school and to the community it serves.

We are commited to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Any appointment is subject to satisfactory completion of all relevant pre-employment checks.
